he will support the operations and production of the company’s
products.
Key responsibilities
Provide code level technical support to developers to help them
enhance their applications.
Build out tools and processes and technologies to improve the level of
support provided to developers.
Analyze the stream of support requests for patterns and opportunities
to improve the services provided.
Define and lead projects to collaborate with Operations and
Engineering teams to improve company’s platform offering to
developers.
Communicate product insights regarding developer experience/
sentiments to cross-functional partners, and support global team
mates in delivering data driven, impactful results.
Simplify software design for complex systems.
Improve scalability and system performance.
Ease resourcing for quicker resolution of development problems.
Plan for deep, technical proactive-service delivery from teams.
Ensure that applications follow recommended practices, making them
more efficient and supportable when they go into production.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or its
equivalent.
Previous experience in software development on the web stack.
Programming abilities in Java.
Ideally have experience in a technical consulting or support role.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
Strong critical thinking and data driven analysis capabilities.
Experience developing for mobile would be an advantage.
Working experience in a Mobile operator Company or Service Provide
would be an advantage.
Salary: Kshs. 180,000 – 200,000
