Quality Control Manager
Our client is a world leader in market research, global market information and business analysis. They are looking for a Quality Control Manager to work in the Nairobi area, who shall report to the Operations Director.
Job Purpose
Take overall responsibility for internal communications and quality controls of Back-check including financial controls of Quality Control (QC) wages.
Job Responsibilities
Department management and communication:
 •    Ensure cost-effective resource utilization in Back-check Dept
•    Ensure ongoing improvement of field quality standards through advising appropriately and proactively
•    Liaise effectively with relevant internal departments/managers on omissions and queries
•    Provide regular feedback to manager on dept and bookings
•    Accurately produce and collate all statistical information relating to Data Collection ,quality and productivity
•    Advise on issues relating to capacity and availability in dept bookings
•    Proactively solve problems in dept/display initiative, innovation and pro-activeness
•    Effectively manage team; ensure balanced workload; coordinate team activities; monitor performance of staff; take timely corrective action
•    Address HR issues in teams
•    Identify growth potential/skills gaps and provide or ensure appropriate coaching/training
•    Maintain personal wellbeing and balance and encourage same of team

Production Manager (Salary 70,000-90,000)
Our Client is a manufacturing production company that produces beverages. They are looking for a production manager.
Main Purpose of the position is to ensure production plan is full achieved in time and in compliance with legal requirements meeting safety, quality, hygiene, cost and customer needs. Drive continuous improvement through Total Quality Management. Empower people to motivate and develop there capability.
Align and involved all the relevant functions.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards (compliant), on time and meeting consumer expectations
Effectively manage the production plant and various products for short and medium term to ensure the organizations products do not run out

Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with the local laws striving less accidents through continuous coaching on safety behaviours
Elaborate and execute workforce development program that will provide appropriate flexibility of workforce and assets
Focus on material availability, finished goods quality, and on time delivery through optimal Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Food Technology,  or a similar degree
2 years working in a similar position
Must have knowledge and a good working experience in process engineering
Must have worked with products that have input raw materials that vary most of the time (for instance baked goods) therefore they must have knowledge of raw material
