Job Summary
namibia_jobs_search_april_2014ActionAid Zimbabwe requires the services of a consultant to conduct research, mapping and analysis of the current policy context and opportunities, and key stakeholders for tax justice campaign work within the Zimbabwean context.
Description
Objective:
To provide relevant information and objective, empirical evidence to support and strengthen AA Zimbabwe’s Country Program capacity in developing and implementing a credible Tax Power Campaign in Zimbabwe.
Key Responsibilities:

The consultant is expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
· An advanced, relevant Postgraduate qualification in Economic Development including Taxation, Development studies or Public Policy.
· Minimum 3 years’ technical experience in Tax Justice related work that reflects in-depth and practical knowledge of the Zimbabwe Taxation System.
Duration of Consultancy:
The research should be completed in 20 days, which will include data analysis, report compilation and submission. A feedback meeting will be held between the consultancy and all the relevant stakeholders to verify the findings.
