company of a leading professional interior
design consultancy in East Africa and
established to solely focus in providing
cutting edge interior design for the
Hospitality Industry is in need of an
Accountant with Project Management
experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct and/or participate in project
reviews and audits on a quarterly basis
and assess project profitability
Assure compliance with Policies &
Processes on projects
Assist in financial close out of projects
Assist in Profitability Analysis monthly to
include A/R analysis, monitoring and
collecting
Supervise and supplement project
accounting role and Project Costing
Will conduct general ledger accounting
reconciliations & Reporting
Will be responsible for the preparation of
Monthly Office P&L Statements, including
analysis of Actual, Forecast, and Project
Budget Allocation
Other duties as required
Qualifications & Technical Experience
Must be a holder of a Degree in Finance
or Accounting option from a reputable
University
Certified Public Accountant (CPAK)
Computer skills and knowledge of all
Microsoft Application with emphasis on
Ms-Excel, Ms-Project and knowledge of
various accounting software packages
Excellent organizational, managerial,
interpersonal and communication (written
and oral) skills, ability to work in a team-
based, continuous improvement
environment, ability to deal with
ambiguity and work independently, ability
to manage several concurrent projects
simultaneously, ability to interact with
other functional areas
Must be highly analytical and inquisitive
with strong organizational abilities, keen
attention to detail, and ability to meet
monthly deadlines and goals
Knowledge of and experience with
accounting principles and concepts,
financial analysis and reporting, financial
controls environments and process
improvement.
Other Prerequisites
Must be able to Project Impact Analysis +
Revenue Assurance capability which will
be a Key deliverable
Individual must have experience that is
aligned to Project Accounting
