The officer will be required to take charge
of a complex audit assignments including
auditing of annual accounts ,compiling
reports of audit findings and will
responsible for supervision of audit staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
He/she will ensure the maintenance of
high audit standards within the unit and
deal with matters arising there from.
The officer will monitor and constantly
review audit programmes for the unit.
The Audit Manager will organize, plan
direct, co-ordinate and control the work
of the unit and ensure proper supervision
and preparation of audit programmes for
financial, operational and management
audits.
He/she will also be responsible for
ensuring the completeness and accuracy
of all accounts and reports emanating
from the unit.
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s in Business Administration
Auditing option
Bachelor of Commerce Auditing option
Registered with the Institute of Internal
Auditors or member ICPAK
Must have demonstrated wide
administrative capability and high degree
of professional competence in managing
internal audit activities
A person of high integrity, a team leader
and results oriented
