Our client is looking for a Regional Business Manager for both Kenya & Uganda. The main purpose of this job is to oversee the Sales of the solar products by implementing national sales plans. Candidates who are working or have worked in telecom –Airtel, MTN etc are highly encouraged to apply
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- thousands of off-roll, village-level Business Associates in both countries.
- Own and exceed sales targets within assigned territories
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company’s customer base
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through presentations
Professional and relevant experience
- Must be a degree holder in marketing
- An MBA will be an added advantage
- At least 5 years work experience within Kenya or Uganda in village-level or semi-rural geographies.
- Experience in agent-driven direct sales industries strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of rural and/or direct sales environments high-scale field sales management experience
- 8+ years leading and coaching large on-roll and off-roll field teams.
