Accountant

Salary: Ksh 30,000
Our client in the finance industry is looking for an Accountant. The main purpose is to work in the accounts department with daily finance responsibilities and other duties as may be assigned.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Presenting the general ledger, the balance sheet and income statement results and analysis
Preparation of General Ledger entries and reconciliations for month-end
Closing books in a timely manner
Analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and reporting on variances
Assisting in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
Assisting with the preparation of audited financial, statements, footnotes and supplemental information
Knowledge & Qualifications
Minimum of a CPA 4
Diploma and/or Degree in Business is a distinct advantage
Computer literate with knowledge of Quick books
2 to 3years experience in accounts
Have high levels of integrity
